NEET Support POST 16
NEET Support - Post 16 Learning @ MFYP
Within our AP support we aim to help sign post learners to post 16 placements such as College or Training providers, this is a main element of our pre 16 support package which focusses on equipping learners to become more independent. Some learners are not post 16 ready and will require additional guidance, support and mentoring to assist them for the next stage of their learning. Our team have a fantastic reputation to support learners in this area and have the necessary contacts whom we regularly work in partnership with.
Our NEET package of support consists of the following:
Assistance and support with the transition to college and sign posting to local training providers.
Develop interpersonal and employability skills.
Independent travel support and travel training.
Obtaining a bus pass.
Functional skills exams in Maths or English at a registered centre.
Professional development online courses in various areas of interest.
Help seeking potential work experience opportunities or work placements.
Arranging career advisor appointments and College applications.
Our team have helped support post many post 16 learners in the over the years enabling them to make go at a pace that is best suited to their needs and help build those essential personal development skills. We are experienced in employability skills, supporting independency and identifying courses best suited to each learner. We have a proven track record which has seen some learners progress into part-time/full time employment, full time college placements and even university.
Learners will work either one-one or in small groups with professional/qualified tutors and have access to our in house core subjects teachers offering maths, English and ICT. We also have numerous contacts for local apprenticeships schemes, work experience. opportunities and training courses.
