STREET AND BREAKDANCE TUITION

Popping, locking and baby freezes are just some of the techniques pupils can learn in our workshops. By observing professional dance instructors, they will gain an understanding of choreographer, routines, rhythm and the importance of timing. Our dance sessions incorporate various styles such as Hip-‐hop, Jazz and Funk, which is all relevant to this art form. We can work towards any live performances and link in our other provisions. This is great for building self-‐ confidence, encouraging team building and raising self‐esteem amongst young people.

Ideal for (3 – 25+ years) (Any agreed timescale), (One‐one or groups), (Ideal for pupils with additional needs ), (AQA accreditation can be applied).
(Girls groups) or (Mixed gender).

AFRICAN DANCE TUITION

Our African dance sessions consist of energetic arm and feet movements that tell a story. Dance and music are a main cultural aspect of African heritage and pupils will gain an understanding of this throughout the sessions. This works well in conjunction with our African drumming workshops and can be applied to our Black history month programme. This is an educational workshop, both practically and theory based.

Ideal for (3 – 25+ years) (Any agreed timescale), (One‐one or groups), (Ideal for pupils with additional needs), (AQA accreditation can be applied).
(Girls groups) or (Mixed gender).
