VIDEO AND MEDIA
Our video media team consists of highly experienced and qualified tutors, who have each worked on numerous projects within the television and media sector. With such experience, they are able to apply their knowledge and skills to other budding students and provide them with an insight of both theory and practical experience.
VIDEO FILM AND PRODUCTION WORKSHOPS
Using professional industry standard equipment such as Final cut pro, HD cameras and lighting, pupils can create their own unique documentaries, music videos or short films. They will learn techniques such as camera shots, angles, adding sound to video and uploading finished pieces to social media. Pupils will also learn the art of video editing using professional editing software and transitioning footage into a collective piece.
This is a great workshop for team building, exploring issue based subjects and peer education. Drama tuition also works well with this, as pupils can role-‐play and portray creative storylines.
Suitable for (7 – 25 + years) (Any agreed timescale), (One‐one or groups), (Ideal for disability groups), (AQA accreditation can also be applied). (Girls groups) or (Mixed gender).

ANIMATION WORKSHOPS
Our animation workshops are superb for all ages and help to capture pupil’s creativity and imagination. This project involves stop-‐motion animation also known as ‘Clay motion’ or ‘Stop-‐frame’ animation, which is used in many TV favourites such as Wallace & Gromit, Pingu and Shaun the Sheep. It’s a great way to engage, express creativity, motivate and learn new skills.
Pupils will devise their own storyboard, make models using clay and produce short films with titles and music. We have various packages available, which suit all ages and cater for beginners to experienced level.

DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOPS
Photography is a creative way of capturing moments, expressing feelings, being imaginative and enabling others to vision your views or prospective. Whether it’s creating a mural piece from images, capturing facial portraits, landscape or editing using Photoshop, this workshop enables all to participate and enjoy.
Pupils can create their own CD covers, magazines, canvass wall pieces or produce a digital slideshow and transfer to DVD. Work can also be projected and used for displays, events or presentations. This is a great workshop for linking into Issue based subjects such as identity, culture or body image.
