dETACHED YOUTH WORK
"On their patch"
Detached youth work is great way to meet young people on their doorstep and engage their environment. We have a professional designated team that can work specifically with young people and breakdown any barriers or existing prejudices they may have. Issues such as teenage drinking and drug use is common and we can educate around this. Using various engagement activities, we bring the activities directly to where the young people are. This includes music education, graffiti art, dance, fitness, sport sessions + many more.

MFYP specialise in providing support for targeted young people, the term targeted meaning we aim to meet the needs of a specific group or age range. This could be due to recent incidents involving youth on a local authority estate, causing nuisance or anti-social behaviour. MFYP acts as a medium between agencies as we have the necessary skills and understanding of the needs and barriers that young people face.
We can work in-conjunction with the community and other professional establishments to provide support and address the situation.

MFYP can be commissioned to deliver any of our learning and engagement packages for you school, youth establishment or organisation. Our mobile team can deliver bespoke services to cater for up-to 40 children at any one time and provide all of the necessary equipment and resources to achieve the outcomes. We have vast experience in achieving this and have established relationships with various statutory organisations. We can work with children from the ages of 6 - 25 years of age.
