SCHOOL PROGRAMMES
THE THINK TWICE PROGRAMME
(Pupils with social, emotional and behavioral difficulties)
Our Think Twice Programme has been tailored for school pupils with complex needs, challenging behavior or experiencing difficulties. As a result they may display a lack of concentration or respect in the classroom, low attendance, disruptiveness or present challenging behavior.
Our pupils are either currently permanently excluded, at risk of exclusion, have emotional and social difficulties or a statement of special educational need for social, emotional and behavior difficulties (SEBD). Pupils with such needs can often struggle to conform to everyday mainstream education, which has a knock on effect on their overall education, social skills, self-‐esteem, confidence and team building skills. This may also affect their future prospects too, such as seeking training or employment.
We work with year 7 – year 11 pupils both onsite or offsite at our two confortable learning environments. With MFYP pupils feel relaxed, motivated and able to reflect on their current circumstances. Using an informal approach, various engagement activities and mentoring sessions, we positively engage and educate our pupils. We explore scenarios, consequences of actions, set targets, goals and plan for the future. We work in partnership with schools to reintegrate them back into school and make them aware on the importance of their education.
Pupils can be referred directly to us from schools, SEN teams, social workers or any other professional establishment. This can be tailored to your requirements and structured over any agreed timescale. Please download our Think Twice brochure in the client login area.

YOUTH WORK SUPPORT
Whether its negative behavior displayed by pupils or due to current issues affecting their lives, youth workers are in demand to work within schools to offer additional support and guidance. We have a number of both level 3 and fully qualified youth workers, with the necessary experience to work with such issues. This can be either part time or full time hours, either as a supportive measure or a lead role. You may require extra assistance with in house provisions, after school activities or during half term breaks.
Benefits of youth work support:

Can deliver or support enrichment sessions.
Can signpost pupils to out of school provision in the community.
Reduces loss of teaching time dealing with challenging pupils.
